Christina Yuhanova is the founder of Psychology Group (Toronto Psychometric Services). She received her B.A (Hon.) in Psychology from York University.
Ms. Yuhanova began her career as a psychometrist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, where she conducted neuropsychological testing for a wide variety of patients within the Neuropsychology Consultation Service. In the course of her work at Sunnybrook, she obtained extensive experience training undergraduate and graduate students in neuropsychological and psychological test administration and continues to enjoy this aspect of her work.
Ms. Yuhanova went on to work for several private psychology clinics before obtaining a position as a neuropsychometrist in the Neurology program at University Health Network (Toronto Rehabilitation Institute), where she conducted clinical and neuropsychological testing of head-injured workers referred by the Worker’s Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). Her work in these various settings provided Ms. Yuhanova with exposure to a broad spectrum of public mental health services models and administration systems.
Ms. Yuhanova saw a demand for an efficient and specialized psychometric testing service. The result is Psychology Group, a company dedicated to providing expert, reliable and efficient psychological, neuropsychological, psycho-educational and psycho-vocational testing to psychologists, mental health clinics, agencies, and organizations.
Ms. Yuhanova hosts seminars for psychometrists, psychotherapists, counselors and psychologists, teaching best practices in a variety of psychological testing and patient behavioural styles. Her experience in clinical testing led her to speak at law firms, such as McLeish Orlando on principles of psychological and cognitive/neuropsychological evaluation and examination methodology.
Ms. Yuhanova’s mission is to create a greater standard for clinical psychometric testing that ensures the results are objective and accurate so that the patients receive the best care.
