Darko Giacomini

My name is Darko, and I am very excited to be part of the Psychology Group community. Having already met some of the team members, I thought I would take this opportunity to let you know a little bit more about myself.

Having over four years of experience managing and supporting assessment validation and program evaluation-based projects within a variety of post-secondary institutions and health care organizations, I possess comprehensive knowledge of evaluative analytics.

My passion for education is what keeps me highly motivated and dedicated to building my career in evaluation and program development. As a member of a wide range of assessment teams, much of my professional interests focus on developing and improving assessment tools through rigorous research and validation processes, leading the development and implementation of evaluation plans and projects. I was responsible for coordinating with partners and administrators, monitoring and evaluating projects, providing technical support and providing suggestions for improvements.

Through both my undergraduate and graduate work, I have gained a thorough understanding of academic institutional policies and protocols, the ability to communicate broad and often complex quantitative research findings to multidisciplinary teams, and a strong aspiration to continue working as an academic researcher.
